[NEWS] 101103 Yoo Seung Ho makes Kimchi for Charity

Dimchae held its fifth “Share the Love Kimchi Event” on November 3rd in Seoul’s Eunpyung-gu.
Every year, Dimchae extends invitations to celebrities to join them in making large packs of kimchi for charity. Yoo Seung Ho, who is also Dimchae’s CF model, rolled up his sleeves for the event along with 80 students.
Yoo Seung Ho put in a lot of effort into making kimchi with the others and in the end, helped produce around 3,000 kilograms of kimchi. The kimchi will be donated to charities who need them for the upcoming winter season.

Celebrities are coming together under a great cause, as Guess Korea kicked off its ‘BLACK is fuel of LOVE’ campaign for Fall 2010.
“BLACK is fuel of LOVE’ is a charitable campaign aimed at providing clothing for the people in need. Yoo Seung Ho, Han Chae Young, Tony An, Bae Da Hae, Im Joo Hwan, Jung Ah Reum, and many others from various niches in the entertainment industry have signed up to model for the cause.
The model fee as well as profits from the sale will be sent to Yontan Bank. Donation boxes will also be placed in Guess stores nationwide so that everyone can participate and share the love in this winter.

[ARTICLE] 101015 Seo Woo and Yoo Seung Ho’s Dramatic First Meeting in “Flames of Ambition”

 

Seo Woo and Yoo Seung Ho recently filmed a scene for their drama, “Flames of Ambition” which showed how they met each other for the first time.
The filming took place on the 14th which saw Min Jae (Yoo Seung Ho) about to enter the hall where the birthday party for his grandpa was being held. But he was stopped by In Hee (Seo Woo) who said to him, “Just be my boyfriend for 10 minutes,” before a bevy of reporters surrounded them.
Having already worked beforehand for some scenes before this, the both of them already had some chemistry with each other, leaving everyone impressed.
Afterwards, Seo Woo expressed with a smile, “It (filming) looked really natural,” while Yoo Seung Ho said, “It’s the first day of our official filming. I was a bit excited because it was my first time playing an adult. I did not have any line for this scene but Seo Woo nuna was of great help to me. Hope that everyone will pay attention to our drama in future.”

Pictured above is the newly released promotional poster for the 2010 Chungmuro International Film Festival (CHIFFS), which features screen stars Yoo Seung Ho (God of Study) and Kim Min Jung (Strike Love). The two actors are the promo representatives for the festival, now in its fourth year, which runs from September 2 through 10.

Operating under the keywords “Discovery, Restoration, Creation,” this year’s festival plans to screen approximately 220 films from 40 countries. The festival includes the international feature and short film competition “Chungmuro Opus,” which this year received 1,170 films from 66 countries.

Chungmuro is a street in Seoul that saw the birth of film and cinema in Korea, and the term has by now become synonymous with the film industry. (Think of Hollywood as another example of an industry becoming known by the place it was founded.) The festival will hold its official press conference on August 4.
