Actor Yoo Seung Ho may be returning to the small screen through a webtoon remake!

On June 9, Yoo Seung Ho’s agency stated, “He has been offered the role in the webtoon remake ‘The Man Living in Our House’ (working title).  He is looking over it and will make his decision soon.”

If he decides to take the role, Yoo Seung Ho will be playing Go Nan Gil, a farmer who has a past of being part of a legendary gang. He is only in his mid-20s but has gone through all sorts of hardships. He is bright but sometimes dark, cold but sometimes innocent. He has a kind heart with a life goal of protecting his family. Unlike Yoo Seung Ho’s last drama “Remember,” he will be playing a more comical character in this webtoon remake.

The webtoon writer for “The Man Living in Our House” is the same writer for “Flower Boy Next Door” and “Fool’s Love.”

Yoo Seung-Ho was born on August, 1993. He first started in show business as a child actor and, like a lot of child actors, he started acting due to his mother. In 1999, Yoo Seung-Ho made his acting debut in a CF for n016. Prior to filming, the ad agency, responsible for the CF, was looking for a fresh face & not a professional model. Yoo Seung-Ho's mother then sent in a photo of her son and he was selected for the CF. 

In 2002, Yoo Seung-Ho was cast for the feature film "The Way Home" and made his feature film acting debut. Prior to his casting, staff members for the "The Way Home" were having a hard time finding the right actor to play the character of Sang-Woo. The movie's director Lee Jeong-Hyang then saw Yoo Seung-Ho among many other child actors and was selected by Lee Jeong-Hyang. One of the primary reasons Lee Jeong-Hyang selected Yoo-Seung-Ho for the role was the mean look he was able to carry in his submitted photos. During filming for "The Way Home" Yoo Seung-Ho was scolded by director Lee Jeong-Hyang and this made him want to quit acting. Now, thinking back to those days, Yoo Seung-Ho doesn't recall those bad moments and just remembers playing with the staff members and being surprised when the grandmother in the film really cried during filming. "The Way Home" turned out to be a highly successful film and sold more than 4 million tickets. 

Since "The Way Home," Yoo Seung-Ho took on several more child acting roles in movies and dramas and became recognized as a proficient child actor. 

Starting from 2009, Yoo Seung-Ho began to take on more mature teen roles. In the 2009 MBC historical drama series "The Great Queen Seondeok," Yoo Seung-Ho played Prince Kim Chun-Chu who was extremely wise and a crafty politician. Yoo Seung-Ho also played teens in the KBS2 drama series "Master of Study" and in the feature film "The Clue". 

In 2010, Yoo Seung-Ho took on his first adult role in the MBC drama series "Flames of Desire". Yoo Seung-Ho, though only 17 years old, played a 21 year old married man named Kim Min-Jae. His wife was played by popular actress Seo Woo. 

One of Yoo Seung-Ho's role models is veteran actor Ahn Sung-Kee. Yoo Seung-Ho respects Ahn Sung-Kee's abilities to play different roles and submerge himself into the various characters he plays. At a press conference for "Master of Study" Yoo Seung-Ho stated that he hates math and enjoys history the most. Yoo Seung-Ho has a nickname of "Little So Ji-Sub," because of his resemblance to actor So Ji-Sub. "Remember" recorded its highest ratings to date, as Yoo Seung Ho and Park Min Young attempted to deliver justice to Nam Goong Min.

According to Nielsen Korea, the 16th episode of the SBS series recorded 17 percent in nationwide viewership, reflecting an increase of 0.7.

Nam Gyu Man (Nam Goong Min) was apprehended by the prosecution for his involvement in a previously closed rape case, forcing his father Nam Il Ho (Han Jin Hee) to use a heavier hand with him.

"Il Ho Group is in a devasting situation because of you," said Nam Il Ho. 

Seo Jin Woo (Yoo Seung Ho) continued to work with Park Dong Ho (Park Sung Woong), in an attempt to avenge the conglomerate group.

Dong Ho expressed his concerns about Jin Woo to Lee In Ah (Park Min Young), after realizing that the young attorney could be succumbing to Alheizmeir's, the condition that afflicted his father, Seo Jae Hyuk (Jeon Kwang Leol). 

Ahn Soo Bum (Lee Si Un) continued to descent from his place as the right-hand man of Gyu Man, exposing the corrupt entertainment agent who turned aspiring actresses into escorts.

[ARTICLE] What does Remember’s Yoo Seung-ho wish he could forget?

SINGAPORE — Having a faultlessly precise memory might be good for certain things, say taking examinations. But not being able to forget anything probably wouldn’t be so great, say, that time you went on a blind date.

In the hit Korean drama Remember (also known as Remember — War Of The Son), Yoo Seung-ho stars as a lawyer with the condition of hyperthymesia — an extremely detailed memory — who fights to acquit his father, who is losing his memory due to Alzheimer’s disease, from a crime he did not commit.

It’s an intense thriller with dark themes such as social injustice, which means Yoo can’t be watching cat videos on YouTube in between his takes. (Incidentally, in his other concurrently-airing show Imaginary Cat, he plays, well, a guy who lives with a talking cat.)

A lot of focus is required for the role, he told us in an email interview — but that’s fine because he’s a pro.

After making a name for himself as a child actor in the 2002 film The Way Home, Yoo went on to act both in films such as Blind, and in television dramas such as Master Of Study and Operation Proposal.

Remember is the 22-year-old’s first television drama since his discharge from military service one year ago but, basically, this guy has been memorising lines since he was nine. His memory must be pretty awesome, right? 

Q: The role is very intense, emotional and dark. How do you keep the stress from getting to you?

A: You are right — this is one of the darker dramas that I have done. I remind myself how lucky I am to be able to do what I love, and the stress goes away. Also, I try to keep a positive attitude on set, even during long days. I find happiness contagious — a happy person will make others happy. Still, filming for long hours is stressful for the body — I can’t wait to be able to sleep and laze around in bed.

Q: You seem to have crying scenes in almost every episode. Is it exhausting to force the tears out, or can you cry on cue?

A: I have been crying since I was little! And, yes, it has been an emotional journey for both my character and I. I have always been a very emotional person and I think acting has played a big part in that. It has put me more in touch with my softer, emotional side. As the years pass, I find myself more and more sensitive to people’s feelings, which I think is great. 

Q: What is your earliest memory from childhood?

A: I remember celebrating my birthday. I don’t remember how old I was but the cake was larger than me and I was overjoyed. Since then, I’ve always looked forward to celebrating birthdays — I get to choose my own cake now. 

Q: What is one memory you would like to forget?

A: I don’t like horror movies. The thing about guys watching horror shows is that you only feel the effects after the show is over. I start imagining things, and, as you know, I am sensitive. I would choose to forget all the horror shows I have watched! 

Q: And what about the last time you forgot a line while filming?

A: I usually don’t forget my lines because we rehearse each take. But I do add in an extra word or two. I have internalised the character, so I think my interpretation of the character does make it more realistic.
